Highest point Quartz

At one of the most prominent locations in Buitenveldert, a new icon of international allure is rising: Quartz. And this icon has reached its highest point. This was celebrated with the hoisting of a festive Q in the presence of architects, contractor and developer.

Contractor JP van Eesteren is responsible for the construction of Q Residences. Marco Peppel, managing director JP van Eesteren: “The construction of this striking building is going very well. You see the iconic design come to life every day. My compliments to everyone who contributed to it. I’m also looking forward to the upcoming construction phase. We are starting to assemble the graceful, undulating façade elements that give Quartz its beautiful face. A technically challenging job, for which we will need to call on quite a bit of our construction IQ!”

Lesley Bamberger, CEO Kroonenberg Groep: “Two years ago we stood here together to drive the first pile into the ground. After the foundations and underground car park had been laid, construction continued above ground. It was wonderful to see how both towers continued to rise. Qube reached its highest point at the end of September, and now it is Quartz’s turn. A new icon in Amsterdam is being realised here.”
