Amsterdam has a brand-new icon. Q Residences brings fresh charisma to the Buitenveldert district. The striking design language, unusual approach and meticulous finishing make everyday living here an extraordinary experience.
Q Residences offers a unique opportunity to live surrounded by green spaces. It is flanked by the stately plane trees of the impressive Gijsbrecht van Aemstel Park, overlooks leafy, tree-lined Buitenveldert and is just a stone’s throw from the expansive Amsterdamse Bos, so ‘green living’ is pretty much the key here. Or it would be, if the congenial architecture and carefully orchestrated plan were not just as attention-grabbing. On a prominent corner of Buitenveldertselaan and Van Nijenrodeweg, Quartz and Qube represent a fresh vision: world-class architecture in Amsterdam, linked by a beautiful plaza with year-round greenery and an underground parking garage.
In Q Residences, the quality of life is reflected in the large windows that allow generous amounts of daylight inside. The outdoors is literally drawn indoors: goodbye old-fashioned, inward-looking tower-block room – here, connection takes place at a great height. Every home is delivered as good as finished, and excels in luxury design choices, including a high-quality designer kitchen, light-filled tiled bathroom and, of course, underfloor heating. This also applies to the entrance and public areas, where excessive attention has been paid to the materialisation of all the interior elements.
The graceful stacking of 23 floors combined with projecting balconies and a curvilinear design language results in an organic-looking piece of architecture. Architectural concrete, a high-quality decorative concrete consisting of white cement and natural stone aggregate, has been applied in various ways, achieving results from softly smooth to a glossy terrazzo finish. The rounded corners and natural design language of the fanned-out balconies increase the views and create visual connections throughout the building.
In Quartz, you can choose from exceptionally pleasant apartments in different sizes and finishes. In the exclusive apartments and penthouses, you will find all the comforts and features of a luxury home, plus extras such as a Quooker tap and other luxurious kitchen components. All the homes are delivered turn-key.
The service level is high, including a 24-hour PA service and the option of renting a parking space in the underground car park.
Three types

There are ten luxury apartments on each floor from the sixth floor. Each apartment has a PVC floor with underfloor heating, and floor cooling in the summer months. In both the living and bedrooms, the floor-to-ceiling windows provide plenty of natural light in the space. The kitchen is an extension of the open living room, a real eye-catcher with dark cabinet doors with visible wood structure and a sand-coloured composite worktop. The bathroom is tiled from floor to ceiling in a warm light gray color.
The luxury apartments vary in size from approximately 49 to 107 m², have one to three bedrooms, one or two bathrooms, and a separate toilet. Each house has a spacious balcony.
EXCLUSIVE APARTMENT
The exclusive apartments start on the 19th floor. These apartments have all the features of the most spacious luxury apartments. Quartz’s lower alter ego, Qube, has eight floors. Each of the eight floors in Qube has 10 apartments. You can reach your own apartment by taking one of the two elevators in the lobby or the stairs. On the floors, the apartments are connected to each other via a high-quality finished hallway, with sleek white walls and deep anthracite-colored carpet. The black front doors have an elegant black frame and a modern stainless steel panel with house number and bell. Studio Piet Boon also advised here about the public areas and optimal layout of the homes.
Each apartment has underfloor heating and a PVC floor. This floor in an aged oak color is laid across the entire house. The bathroom is tiled from floor to ceiling in a warm light-grey colour. There is a washbasin with mirror and a Grohe mixer tap and shower set. The house has a separate toilet, the back wall of which has the same tiles as the bathroom; the other walls are plastered in white.
